$Our flimsy tent erected over the sled, which is used as a sleeping platform (a tight fit for 2). Far less sturdy or insulating than either modern tents or traditional igloos, I\'m surprised to learn that this is all the fishermen use while spending most of the winter out here on the ice.$

$Fishermen return to Nuusuaq with a sledload of halibut, which is loaded onto a commercial ship frozen in the sea ice. They will continue to fish until the ship\'s holds are full. Once the ice breaks, the ship will head south with its cargo.$ $Loading halibut into the ship\'s hold.$
